Austria planned 3% internet sales tax is the first steps toward taxing all European web users.
European nations are using Austria as the “fall guy” for the reason to charge web users more money to access the internet. This is a well known tactic used by governments to tax citizens. Austria government promises that the 3% sales tax will only be applied to big companies like Facebook and Amazon but that’s not true. The tax will be in addition to a planned European Union digital tax, that affects all web users. In the coming months surrounding countries like Croatia, Italy, Belgium, Hungary Czechia, Germany and the U.K will be following suit.
